ROMA, 15 Dic. 08 / 10:25 am (ACI).- Se ha iniciado esta mañana el 11º Coloquio entre el Pontificio Consejo para el Diálogo Interreligioso y la World Islamic Call Society (WICS), organización musulmana con sede en Trípoli, Libia. Este encuentro culminará el próximo 17 de diciembre con una audiencia con el Papa Benedicto XVI. El tema de este evento es "La responsabilidad de los líderes religiosos especialmente en tiempos de crisis".
Según informa L'Osservatore Romano, participan en este encuentro 24 representantes en total, 12 católicos y 12 musulmanes. Entre los primeros están, entre otros, el Presidente del Pontificio Consejo para el Diálogo Interreligioso, Cardenal Jean-Louis Tauran, el Secretario de este dicasterio, Arzobispo Pier Luigi Celata; y el Jefe de Asuntos Islámicos de este dicasterio también, Mons. Khaled Akasheh.
Entre los musulmanes se encuentra al Presidente de la WICS en Roma, Mansosur Tantush; el Secretario General de la WICS, Mohamed Ahmed Sherif; entre otros.
Las cinco sesiones del encuentro estarán dedicadas a la presentación de la parte católica y de la parte musulmana; y a la profundización de tres temas de reflexión: "Responsabilidad religiosa", "Responsabilidad cultural y social" y "Tiempos de crisis en el camino del diálogo interreligioso".
