La oficina de prensa del arzobispado de México emitió un mensaje de condolencias al arzobispo de Jalapa, Mons. Hipólito Reyes Larios, al darse a conocer el hallazgo del cadáver de su sobrina de 23 años, Karina Reyes Luna, quien fue secuestrada la semana pasada.

Con profundo dolor por los recientes hechos funestos acontecidos en Veracruz, la Arquidiócesis de México envía un solidario gesto de condolencias a la familia Reyes Luna por la sensible pérdida de su hija Karina Reyes Luna.
Enterados de las circunstancias de esta tragedia, el Sr. Cardenal Norberto Rivera Carrera y el arzobispado de México condenan firmemente los sucesos criminales que culminaron con la inocente vida de la joven Karina, de apenas 23 años de edad.
De igual manera, sirva esta presente para externar las condolencias a S. Exc. Mons. Hipólito Reyes Larios, arzobispo de Xalapa, por el fallecimiento de Karina Reyes, sobrina suya.
En estos momentos, para los fieles a la promesa Divina, la esperanza es una virtud obligatoria que sirve para despertar en nosotros la confianza en que los problemas tengan una pronta solución, que nuestro país recobre para sus ciudadanos la justicia, paz, dignidad, respeto y amor para y entre los hermanos.
