No entiendo nada. Pocas cosas me cuadran en todo este escándalo y muchas (quizás demasiadas) ideas e hipótesis se me pasan por la cabeza. Sin fundamento y credibilidad mayor que una simple posibilidad, voy a transmitiros los pensamientos que se me han pasado por la cabeza a lo largo del día de hoy con respecto a la operación en la que se investiga a las sociedades Fórum Filatélico y Afinsa.
Grosso modo se trata de una hipotética versión que centra su argumentación en que esto se trata en una maniobra política en toda regla.
Esta trama se descubre hoy, 6 de mayo, día después de la sentencia de la Audiencia Provincial de Madrid que considera ilegales las detenciones de dos militantes del PP que acudieron a la manifestación de la AVT el 22 de enero de 2005 y que fueron acusados de agredir al ex ministro Bono. Curiosamente, coincide con el destape del traslado de presos etarras a cárceles cercanas a Euskadi y con el comunicado en el que ETA deja clara su voluntad de continuar con la lucha armada.
Con esta operación, eclipsan una actualidad política poco halagüeña para el Gobierno y que le restaría un amplio margen de confianza y de credibilidad (más todavía). ¿Les suena esto a algo?.
Por otro lado la noticia fue filtrada exclusivamente a la Cadena Ser. A lo menos curioso el trato mediático que se le ha dado a la noticia. Muestra del talante y todas esas cosas.
¿Pero cómo se puede hablar de estafa si la inversión se ve materializada en sellos?. Los sellos van ganando valor con el paso del tiempo, y cada cliente puede ir a buscar sus sellos cuando lo desee. Claro que mientras estén cerradas las oficinas... pues va a ser que no.
Además de todo esto, hay un claro beneficiado con todo este escándalo: la banca. La situación es ciertamente compleja; Fórum Filatélico ofrece un 6% de intereses a quien haga su inversión en filatelia, sellos. Muchos pequeños ahorradores deciden invertir este dinero en Fórum y no en los bancos por su alta rentabilidad. Aquí ya vemos un gran perjudicado en todo esto, la banca. Por si fuera poco, Fórum ha adquirido en los últimos días unas 550.000 acciones del Banco Pastor, que equivalen al 0,85% del capital de la entidad bancaria. Esto supone una gran amenaza para la banca tradicional que ve como fuertes entidades ajenas al sector se introducen con intención de consolidar sus posiciones financieras y estrategicas en el marco económico del país.
La acusación de la Fiscalía ha provocado (y provocará aún más) cierta incertidumbre que creará en la sociedad la confusión suficiente para que los ciudadanos tiendan a desconfiar de este tipo de entidades. Así, provocarán dos tipos de reacciones: que los españoles inviertan sus ahorros en la banca tradicional, o que dejen de ahorrar y se pongan a gastar el dinero con lo que aumentarán considerablemente los índices de consumo.
La conclusión es clara, existen dos claros beneficiados: gobierno y banca. El gobierno porque verá aumentar los índices de consumo y por enfocar la actualidad a esta cuestión, y la banca porque verá en sus arcas gran parte de estos pequeños ahorros que hoy por hoy se invertían en Fórum y en entidades similares. Ah, y un tercer beneficiado, la Cadena Ser, que intentarán utilizar esta primicia para vender su eslogan (un paso por delante).
Claro que todo esto, es una simple hipótesis.
¿No les recuerda todo esto a Rumasa?, Ruiz Mateos adquiría pequeños bancos para formar una importante entidad. El gobierno se interpuso en su camino. La justicia, en cierto modo, le dio la razón.
Fórum acaba de emitir un comunicado donde niega las acusaciones y pide tranquilidad a sus clientes.
Esperemos que por el bien de estos 350.000 ahorradores, todo se solucione.
